Experience & Qualifications
· Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or similar discipline
· At least 5 years software development experience. Out of that at least 3 years experience working with Java/J2EE technologies
· Experience in OOD/UML, Spring, Hibernate, Weblogic/JBoss, Tomcat, JUnit, Oracle, and working experience on Linux /Solaris environment are a strong plus
· Web application development and experience in Struts/JSF, Portal technologies is an added advantage.
Personal Attributes & Competencies:
· Must be self-motivated and work with minimum supervision to achieve deadlines
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
· Must possess excellent oral, written and presentational skills;
· Experience in a team oriented development environment is a plus
· Ability to grasp business and technical context
· Must be able to apply engineering processes and standards to achieve high quality
· Ability to communicate effectively with staff and all levels across distributed teams
· Experience in enterprise scale application development and the ability to understand and apply design patterns based on this experience.
