POST OF TOUR COORDINATOR
Walkers Tours the largest In-bound Tour Operator in Sri Lanka with over 40 years experience in the Destination Management Industry, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the Post of Tour Coordinator.
Principal Responsibilities
· Securing accommodation /transport/guides and other related arrangements for confirmed bookings
· Check and update information on operating system
· Hotel/Transport and other costs to be entered accurately and conform to the guidelines as per the operations manual
· To expedite invoicing as per deadlines
· Checking tour files
· Briefing chauffeur guides and guides before tour
· Reconfirmation of flights
· Maintaining and closing of tour files
The ideal candidate should possess:
· G C E Advanced Level
· Excellent written & oral communication skills
· Knowledge of MS Office
· Good record keeping and follow up skills
· Team spirit
· Commitment & Customer Focus
Experience in the industry and ability to communicate in a foreign language will be an added advantage.
