(1)   Description of Resort:-

Eden Resort & Spa is a 5 Star Luxury Beach Resort situated on theGolden Mile Beach along the South West Coast in Beruwela.  It is the flagship Hotel of the Confifi Group and has been the proud recipient of numerous International and National accolades including the “National Business Excellence Award – Gold” for the Hospitality Sector, in successive years. 

It also has the distinction of being the First dedicated Spa Resort inSri Lanka.  Introduced as an Ayurvedic Spa, it is currently set up to deliver a mix of treatments / therapies presenting a myriad of value propositions to the guests.

(2)   The Role: -

The primary “Role” of the Spa Manager will be;
a.       To review the ongoing operation including configuration of the facility, the menu of services, range of merchandise, quality of therapists etc., in the context of the evolving trends into the future and the Company’s objectives and to change where necessary
b.      Train and standardize service delivery to be consistent with International Standards
c.       To optimize capture rate of resident guests and outsiders by proper marketing and merchandising in order to realize maximum revenues
d.      To optimize profitability of the operation.

(3)   Basic Qualifications: - An international recognized qualification or Industry training in Wellness, Spa Therapy, Massage and Relaxation Practices, Beauty Care etc. for discerning clients, preferably in a multi-national environment.  Must be computer literate.

(4)   Experience: - A minimum of three years all around experience as a Therapist with substantial time in a managerial role at an Internationally reputed Spa or at a comprehensive Spa within an International Hotel.

(5)   Special Attributes: - Creativity, warm personality and ability to train others.

(6)   Physical Requirements:  All round appearance of fitness which promotes that style of life.

(7)   Disposition: - An outgoing personality with good social skills and someone who enjoys being hands-on.

(8)   Business Acumen:-  Must be a good Sales Person able to optimize revenue and be bottom line oriented – a good business Manager

(9)   Remuneration and other perks: -  Negotiable
