Senior Technical Support Engineer

This position demands high level of leadership, decision making & technical proficiency in both system administration and software troubleshooting in providing high quality technical support services to large businesses around the world on their enterprise search solutions.

  • A minimum of three years experience in a development or support operation
  • Degree in CS or IT
  • Excellent communication skills (Written & Call handling skills are important)
  • Hands-On system administration/networking/troubleshooting skills in Windows and Linux environments including scripting
  • Software development skills (Java/C++/Python/Perl/XML etc) will be an advantage
  • Ability to technically lead a team of support engineers and take ownership of service quality according to the SLA. You have sufficient technical depth to communicate with development and other internal organizations at a peer level.
  • Ability work in a shift based 24x5 support operation  
 
The selected candidates will be awarded with additional service allowances as part of the competitive remuneration package.
