Work Environment
You will be joining a team of highly skilled IT Professionals with a solid computer science background and many years of experience. We have a flat organization structure, and employees are given the full freedom to utilize their skills to the maximum without interference from management. You will be given a certain business goal by your coach, which is usually the delivery of a certain system, either alone or as part of a team. You are expected to work independently on your tasks, follow our methods and quality standards and, in many cases, communicate directly with the customer, to achieve your goal. Your work will be evaluated using feedback from the customer and team on a regular basis and a bonus is paid according to your performance at the end of the year. All employees are provided with a high end Laptop computer making it possible to work from home, if and when project conditions permit. Travel to Europe is sometimes required, usually at the startup of projects.
Insurance Software Development / .NET
CodeConnexion is forming a strategic long term partnership with an extremely successful software company in Scandinavia. The partner company is developing and marketing a suite of software products for the insurance industry, which are used by major insurance companies in Scandinavia.
The CodeConnexion developers allocated to this engagement will be part of the extended development team of the partner company, and take part in development activities in the core products as well as customer specific modules for different insurance companies in Scandinavia.
We are now looking for individuals who can become core members in this team. The members of the team will have the opportunity to work directly with an international team of professionals, international customers, gain experience with new technology as well as the insurance business domain. The team will work together in Colombo with consultants from our partner as well as visit Scandinavia as and when necessary.
The selection criteria for these highly attractive positions will be based on the capabilities the candidates have demonstrated academically as well as in industrial scale projects, in the required technology areas given below. Knowledge and experience in insurance or actuarial science is an advantage but not mandatory.
The candidates must also have the desire to work towards becoming technology specialists in the insurance business domain.
